Man, the first epi of SoA didn't get good until the last 15 or so minutes. It definitely did set the tone for the rest of the season though.

Most of you fags can't get past the first few episodes for whatever reason. Though, I agree that the first season kinda drags in comparison to the second season. The show itself picks up around the last few episodes of the first season. I actually didn't start watching until Season 2 and only got Season 1 on DVD to get the back story.

Breaking Bad is in its own category. It's hard to compare anything to that show.

In short: Watch the first two seasons or get bent

I've seen the movie. It's good. But why do I have the feeling the series will be crap?

I saw it today. It was ok, nothing brilliant. Beautifully shot, though.
And Woody's hair annoys me. It looks so ridiculous.
